Recipe For Easy Listening

Lucie Arnaz's first "studio recording" is a potpourri of music the way they used to write it. Following in the footsteps of such "girl singers" as Rosemary Clooney (who contributed to the album's liner notes), Julie London and Peggy Lee, Lucie has assembled a repertoire that includes such standards as Rodgers and Hart's "Lover," George and Ira Gershwin's "'S Wonderful," and Washington and Young's "My Foolish Heart."

Mixed in among the "classics" are such newer tunes as Harry Connick Jr.'s "Recipe for Love," and "Slow Dancin'," contributed by two of her best friends, Ron Abel and Chuck Steffan.

Lucie tips her hat two both of her famous parents (their names escape me...) by including two of her mother's favorite songs: Comden and Green's "Make Someone Happy" and Irving Berlin's "Blue Skies." She dedicates "Quiereme Mucho" to her father.
